A real estate agent has just shared a folder with you via MyNotary. You received an email with a link to access the folder, but you are unable to download the files.
Here are several reasons that could explain the download failure:
The Browser Is Not Up to Date
👉 You need to update it. Tutorials are available online to guide you through the process.
The Browser Is Blocking the Download
If this is the case, when you try to download, a message may appear in the browser’s search bar saying "Pop-up window blocked" or a blocking icon may be displayed.
👉 You simply need to allow the download for this page by clicking on the message or icon. Once this is done, future downloads will not be blocked.
A Security Setting or Software Is Blocking the Download
👉 You should check your security settings to allow the download.
It is also possible that the download was completed but that you cannot access the files.
The Downloaded File Is Zipped
In this case, you need a tool to unzip it. By default, all computers have one, but you can also download a free one if needed.
The PDF Reader Is Outdated
If you are unable to open a PDF file, you may need to update your PDF reader.
